A Dream of Freedom recounts Alex Pop’s journey of suffering, hope, and faith.

Alex grew up in Romania during the terrifying years of Communism. As a believer in Jesus Christ, he was the target of anti-religious pressure by the government. Without being a member of the Communist Party, there was no chance of a successful future in the Communist society.

The secret police controlled all aspects of people's lives through terribly harsh methods. Facing this lack of freedom to live as a Christian soon led Alex to long for a better life. The only way out was to try to escape the cruel regime.
